Welcome to AideChoice. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AideChoice website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using AideChoice, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What AideChoice Is (and Is Not)

AideChoice is a technology platform that connects individuals seeking short-term, non-medical home care services (“Clients”) with licensed home care agencies (“Provider Agencies”). These agencies employ caregivers, referred to on the Platform as “Support Aides.”

AideChoice is not a home care agency.
AideChoice does not employ caregivers, provide medical or skilled nursing services, or supervise the day-to-day performance of caregivers. All care services are provided solely by Provider Agencies and their employees.

2. Eligibility & Use of the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using AideChoice, you confirm that:

  • You are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You will use the Platform only for lawful purposes.

AideChoice reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if these conditions are violated.

3. Scope of Services

AideChoice facilitates access to short-term, non-medical support services, including but not limited to:

  • Non-medical escorts to appointments or procedures
  • Assistance with activities of daily living
  • Mobility and transfer support
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Companionship and respite support
  • Medication reminders (no administration)

AideChoice does not provide medical, skilled, or licensed healthcare services, including nursing care, physical therapy, medication administration, or clinical decision-making.

4. Booking & Scheduling

Clients may request services for themselves or on behalf of another individual through the Platform.

  • All service requests are subject to availability.
  • Assignment confirmation occurs once a Provider Agency accepts the request.
  • In most cases, services can be arranged within a short time frame; however, availability is not guaranteed.

AideChoice does not guarantee the acceptance of any specific request.

5. Payments & Pricing

Pricing, minimum hours, packages, and mileage fees are disclosed on the Platform at the time of booking.

By submitting a booking request, you authorize AideChoice to charge your selected payment method for:

  • Approved hourly services
  • Applicable package purchases
  • Mileage or transportation fees, if applicable

All payments are privately paid. AideChoice does not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid.

6. Cancellations & Modifications

Cancellation and modification policies are provided during the booking process and may vary depending on timing and service status.

Late cancellations or no-shows may result in partial or full charges. Clients are responsible for reviewing cancellation terms before confirming services.

7. Caregiver Relationship & Responsibility

Support Aides are employees of independent Provider Agencies, not AideChoice.

  • Provider Agencies are solely responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and compensating caregivers.
  • Any concerns regarding care quality should be reported promptly through the Platform.

AideChoice may monitor quality metrics and client feedback but does not control how services are delivered.

8. Ratings, Feedback & Quality Standards

Clients may provide ratings and feedback after services are completed. This feedback helps maintain quality across the AideChoice Network.

AideChoice reserves the right to suspend or remove agencies or caregivers who fail to meet quality or responsiveness standards.

9. Geographic Availability

AideChoice services are available only in designated service areas. Availability may change over time. Accessing the Platform does not guarantee service coverage in all locations.

10. Gifted Services

Gift purchases are subject to these Terms. Gift codes:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are non-refundable once redeemed
  • Must be used in accordance with Platform policies

Recipients are responsible for scheduling services through the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • AideChoice is not liable for acts, omissions, or performance of Provider Agencies or caregivers.
  • AideChoice is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages arising from care services provided by third parties.
  • AideChoice’s liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the applicable service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AideChoice, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Any misuse of services booked through AideChoice

13. Privacy

Your use of AideChoice is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

14. Changes to These Terms

AideChoice may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
